Port Noarlunga and the surrounding coastal region is full of delicious cafes, restaurants, cellar doors and fresh produce markets. Being on the coast, there is no shortage of beach side dining both casual and formal in full view of the nightly sunsets.
Just a 3 minute drive or a longer leisurely coastal walk from COAST Motel and Apartments is the historic town centre of Port Noarlunga with a vast range of dining options to suit from Portuguese Australian with beautiful ocean views over hanging the sand at Hortas, to fresh authentic Thai at Ampikas Kitchen sitting under the old bungalow verandah on the beachfront. Take one of our COAST cruiser bikes for a ride down to a local favourite Deep Blue Cafe at Moana for breakfast lunch or dinner... And don't forget to try their Gin and Tonic!
Saturdays are for a morning trip to the Willunga Farmers Markets, just 20 minutes from COAST where all the best local produce is available from suppliers of the McLaren Vale region. Taste locally ground coffee, organic produce and some of the best breakfasts in SA.
If you want something special you won't be disappointed with the intimate setting of Star of Greece at Port Willunga, with a Mediterranean and fresh seafood menu, overlooking the beautiful turquoise waters of the gulf. McLaren Vale has many intimate settings for those special occasions and being only 10 minutes away transport to and from is easy.
