Marine& Wildlife found in the
The Fleurieu Peninsula is abundant with marine and wildlife. In the cooler months whale watching is a must. Southern right whales migrate to the area every year between June and early October, and can often be seen from Southport Beach - located directly opposite the Coastview Motor Inn. Other whales that are known to visit the area include: sperm whales, humpbacks, blue whales and on occasion Orca's have been sighted.

Located only a short 5 minute drive from the Coastview Motor Inn is the Port Noarlunga Reef. The Reef is home to over 200 species of marine and plant life and is perfect for the child explorer through to highly experienced scuba divers.
Why not try your hand at snorkeling, scuba or SNUBA diving. You can hire equipment or take a guided tour from Port Noarlunga SNUBA - located right at the Port Noarlunga beach entrance.
