Marine& Wildlife found in the
Fleurieu Peninsula

The Fleurieu Peninsula is abundant with marine and wildlife.  In the cooler months whale watching is a must.  Southern right whales migrate to the area every year between June and early October, and can often be seen from Southport Beach - located directly opposite the Coastview Motor Inn.  Other whales that are known to visit the area include: sperm whales, humpbacks, blue whales and on occasion Orca's have been sighted.

Another place to experience the majestic beauty of the visiting whales is in Victor Harbor - find out more on the SA Whale Centre page.

Keep an eye out for the sea lions too!
